Abstract: I will sketch the proof of a recent result of M. Saprykina and myself which shows that given a Liouville rotation of the circle there exists a uniquely ergodic, volume preserving, diffeomorphism of a torus which is measurably isomorphic to that rotation. I also hope to convince you that such a result is interesting.
